Youth Mental Health First Aid
This training equips groups with the skills needed to provide initial support to youth ages 12–18 experiencing mental health or substance use challenges or crises. This will involve two hours of online pre-work, followed by a six-hour, in-person class. A virtual option is also available. Teen Mental Health First Aid
This training teaches teens in grades 9–12 or ages 14–18 how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in their friends and peers. Lessons are conducted in person in six 45-minute sessions or three 90-minute sessions.
Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education
Mental Health First Aid for Higher Education is a skills-based training that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to someone experiencing a mental health and substance use challenge. This program has a specific focus on the unique challenges faced by college students and is designed for students, staff, and faculty. This will be a 7.5-hour, instructor-led, in-person session.
Adult Mental Health First Aid
This training helps individuals provide initial support to adults experiencing mental health challenges or crises until professional help is available. This will involve two hours of online pre-work, followed by a six-hour, in-person class. A virtual option is also available. Mental Health First Aid for Older Adults
Mental Health First Aid for Older Adults is a skills-based training that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to someone experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. The program addresses mental health challenges unique to people aged 55 and older. This training includes one 7.5-hour instructor-led, in-person session.
Mental Health First Aid for Rural Communities
This training equips adults with the skills to recognize and respond to mental health challenges while addressing the unique barriers to care in rural areas, and it highlights the strengths or rural communities, such as supportive neighbors, friends, and trusted adults in helping people get the support they need. This training will be a 7.5-hour, in-person, instructor-led session.
Adverse Childhood Experiences 101

Attendees will understand ACEs research, consider its implications for themselves and others and how it can be passed through generations, and identify prevention and response strategies. The length of this session can be individualized to meet your needs.
Trauma-Informed Workplace

This training can help organizations create a culture of safety and compassion by acknowledging and responding to trauma in their employees. The length of this session can be individualized to meet your needs.

This 3-hour, in-person course delves into trauma-informed approaches to create safe and supportive student learning environments.
Trauma-Informed Strategies for Calming Conflict

This 3-hour training is designed to help participants confidently respond to tense situations with calm, respectful, and effective communication. Participants will learn the purpose and key principles of verbal de-escalation, how to recognize early warning signs of escalation and common triggers, and trauma-informed strategies that reduce tension while supporting safety, dignity, and connection. This training is ideal for professionals and community members who want tools to prevent conflict from escalating and promote more positive outcomes.
