Adult mental health first aid training helps individuals provide initial support to adults experiencing mental health challenges or crises until professional help is available.

This course will teach you how to apply the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE): 

  • Assess for risk of suicide or harm.
  • Listen non-judgmentally.
  • Give reassurance and information.
  • Encourage appropriate professional help.
  • Encourage self-help and other support strategies.
