Please note: this event is for Rachel's House staff and volunteers, invite only! Schedule a TIPP training session for you and your staff.

Adult mental health first aid training helps individuals provide initial support to adults experiencing mental health challenges or crises until professional help is available.

This course will teach you how to apply the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE):

  • Assess for risk of suicide or harm.
  • Listen non-judgmentally.
  • Give reassurance and information.
  • Encourage appropriate professional help.
  • Encourage self-help and other support strategies.

This information was produced by AFMC (#H79SM088279) under the funding opportunity SM-23-002, awarded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Join us for this blended in-person session! Pre-work will be 2 hours of pre-work required for this session. We will provide lunch for all attendees.
