Rhelinda McFadden, the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Practice Transformation (PT) manager for AFMC, has been appointed to serve on the Partnership for Quality Measurement (PQM)’s Endorsement & Maintenance (E&M) Initial Recognition and Management Committee.
AFMC’s PCMH PT team works with Arkansas clinics to improve colorectal, cervical, and breast cancer screening rates. Through innovative outreach strategies and some friendly competition, the PT team’s efforts have been monumental in improving preventive care metrics, especially in rural pockets of the state.
Rhelinda was nominated out of 250 applicants and will serve for three years on the committee's Advisory Group. The group influences preventive measures for federal programs. Rhelinda will be part of a team that positively impacts recognition and timely diagnosis of conditions, helping to ensure accurate diagnoses and early disease detection.
Rhelinda’s knowledge and program insights will be an asset to the committee, and her work will help impact federal program success nationwide.
