What is Access Arkansas?

Access.Arkansas.gov is a website where you can manage your Arkansas Medicaid benefits and other assistance programs. You can do many things online, all in one place, available 24/7!

Here’s what you can do:

1. Apply for Benefits

  • Apply for Arkansas Medicaid, including ARKids First, TEFRA, and Long-Term Services.
  • Apply for other assistance programs like SNAP (food assistance) and TEA (cash assistance).

2. Check Your Application Status

  • See if your applications are being processed or approved.

3. Renew Your Medicaid Coverage

  • Complete your annual Medicaid renewal online.
  • Update personal and household info as needed.

4. Update Your Info

  • Report changes like new income, new address, new household size, or new job employment. Keeping your info up to date helps you keep your benefits.

5. Opt in to Email or Text Alerts about Your Benefits

  • You can also opt in to receive letters electronically instead of letters delivered through traditional mail.

6. Manage Your Case

  • View details about your current benefits, coverage dates, and program eligibility.
  • View letters DHS has sent you about your benefits.

7. Upload and Submit Documents

  • Submit required documents (e.g., proof of income, residency, or citizenship) right through the website.

8. Find Local DHS Offices

  • Get addresses and contact info for your local Department of Human Services (DHS) offices.
