The AR PACEs & Resilience Coalition meeting is a great event for community leaders, healthcare professionals, teachers, and anyone who wants to learn more about adverse childhood experiences and how to build resilience in the face of trauma.
This meeting will feature two speakers focused on prevention, early intervention, and recovery for youth and families impacted by substance use.
Justin Buck, executive director of the Wolfe Street Foundation, will join the coalition to highlight youth-focused recovery programs and share how communities can better connect young people and families with resources that support healing and long-term stability.
Caitlyn Johnson, LCSW, project manager for the Arkansas Behavioral Health Integration Network (ABHIN), will discuss youth screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT), a prevention-focused approach for identifying substance use concerns early and connecting adolescents to support before challenges escalate.
Together, these presentations will offer practical tools, real-world strategies, and community-based resources that support trauma-informed prevention and recovery.
Share your expertise, learn about community resources, and gain practical tools you can use to support individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.
Date/Time: Wednesday, February 11, 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
