The Arkansas State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup (AR-SEOW) recently posted new resources on the PreventionWorks website. Informational tools created through AR-SEOW highlight substance use data. All tools are available for download from the website, or you can request free printed versions through the website or by contacting us.
Mental Health Awareness Month
President Trump has proclaimed May 2017 as National Mental Health Awareness Month. National Prevention Week
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) National Prevention Week is May 14 – 20. This observance aims to “raise awareness about the importance of substance use prevention and positive mental health.” For more information, visit the SAMHSA’s website.
