Arkansas Medicaid offers no-cost Promoting Interoperability assistance

Arkansas Medicaid is the recipient of a grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide technical assistance for the Promoting Interoperability program. AFMC HealthIT provides this technical assistance on behalf of Arkansas Medicaid.
No-cost Promoting Interoperability services are offered to all Medicaid-eligible professionals, as defined by CMS guidelines. Eligible professionals include:
- MDs and DOs (including specialists)
- Nurse practitioners
- Certified nurse midwives
- Physician assistants practicing in an FQHC or a RHC that is led by a physician assistant
