Mark your calendar for the 5th Annual Sickle Cell Symposium scheduled for Oct. 6-7 on the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences campus, Little Rock.
The free symposium will kick off with a patient and family-centered care event from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in the UAMS Cancer Institute, Sam Walton Auditorium (Room 1026). Speakers and opportunities for networking will be featured. Light refreshments will be served.
On Oct. 7, a keynote speaker from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and a panel of experts will be featured from 7:15 a.m. until noon, in the UAMS Jack Stephens Spine Institute, 12th floor.
Free continuing education units are available for both days.
The symposium is presented by Future Builders, Inc. in partnership with the UAMS Adult Sickle Cell Clinical Program.
