Looking for something fruity and cold on a hot summer afternoon? Try this simple and nutritious mango shake!

  • 2 cups low-fat (1%) milk
  • 4 tablespoons frozen mango juice (or 1 fresh pitted mango)
  • 1 small banana (freeze the banana for a thicker ice-cream like texture)
  • 2 ice cubes

  • Put all ingredients into a blender
  • Blend until foamy
  • Serve immediately

  • Instead of mango juice, try orange juice, papaya or strawberries
  • For a plant-based alternative, try coconut milk (bonus, this will enhance the tropical vibe of the drink as well)
