AFMC offers a range of publications for providers and consumers.
From our Quality Focus newsletters for providers, to Medicare
Talk for people on Medicare, AFMC’s award-winning publications
cover topics that can help Arkansans improve their own health and health care throughout
the state. Each newsletter or article is geared toward a
specific
consumer or professional audience, both in content and design.
Consumer topics range from keeping your heart healthy, to
getting a flu and pneumonia shot, to picking a nursing home
for yourself or a family member. Provider publications address
topics such as preoperative antibiotics, setting priorities
for long-term care, or improving diabetes care. As the number
of AFMC projects and initiatives continues to grow, so does
the scope and quantity of our publications.
