Hospitals report that they are saving time with AFMC's Web Review System for continued-stay reviews. No more stacking up charts over the weekend waiting for AFMC to open on Monday.

The online form for continued-stay review is quick and easy, and it's available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply type in the information you would normally give over the phone. Then login at your convenience during AFMC business hours and check the status of your reviews.

The WRS meets HIPAA requirements for data encryption over the Internet, so the patient’s privacy remains protected.

	AFMC recently surveyed users of its Web Review System for Medicaid continued inpatient stays. Overall, the results were very favorable. Of those who responded to the survey, 91% said they would recommend using the Web Review System to others. However, only 45% said they have accessed the reports that are available for Inpatient Retrospective and Emergency Department review results.
