Membership BenefitsLifetime Membership. According to the corporate bylaws, membership is voluntary and may be terminated only if the member has resigned, had his/her medical license suspended or revoked, or had Arkansas professional activities discontinued. No Financial Obligation. You will not pay any dues or be charged fees for membership. Eligible to Serve as a Physician Consultant. As a member, you may be eligible to lend your expertise in reviewing charts and serving on focus groups. Opportunity to Influence Policies. You must be a member to be eligible to serve on the AFMC Board of Directors or one of its committees. As a member, you also will be eligible to nominate and vote for AFMC's board. By serving on or selecting our board, you can ensure your role in impacting healthcare in Arkansas. AFMC is committed to improving the health of all Arkansans.
